Saturday morning is a torrent and nobody at the basin can answer it. CIERA takes the bookings on WhatsApp, states your menu prices outright, protects your stylists' regulars, takes deposits on the long services, and knows exactly how to handle a client who says "I hate it". From R799 per month.
See CIERA in actionThis agent is built differently to the trades ones, on purpose. Nobody's hair is an emergency. When a client asks to be squeezed in today, that is an availability question, and it gets answered like one: two or three real slots from your book, never an invented one, never a vague "let me check and come back to you".
Speed is the whole game here. Slow, polite hedging in a salon thread does not read as warmth, it reads as incompetence, and the client books somewhere else while they wait.
Rerouting a regular to whoever happens to be free is one of the few things that genuinely loses a client for good. CIERA will never quietly do it. It offers the choice honestly and lets the client decide:
Client, 08:12 — Any chance of a cut and blow wave this week?
CIERA, 08:12 — Linda's next opening is Thursday at 14:00. If you'd rather come sooner, Sarah has 11:30 tomorrow — totally your call.
Client, 08:13 — I'll wait for Linda, thanks
CIERA, 08:13 — Booked — Linda, Thursday 14:00, cut and blow wave, about an hour and a half. See you then.
Illustrative. Your own menu, stylists and policies drive what the agent says.
Standard services have a menu price, so the agent gives it — directly, not hedged, not handed to a human to answer on Monday. The one exception is genuinely custom work: colour correction, fixing a box dye, going several shades lighter, extensions. There the price really does depend on length and condition, so it offers the consultation instead, and may quote your "from" price. It never invents a number and never invents a discount.
First-time colour means a patch test. If a client pushes — and they do, because they want it done today — the agent does not say "okay, just this once". It hands the conversation to you and stops.
A recorded allergy stays recorded permanently. Not cleared when the client says it is fine now, not three years later either. And if someone reports a reaction, that is the one moment this agent drops everything: immediate response, straight to medical advice, and you are paged.
It answers no medical questions at all — and notably it does not escalate them to you either, because you cannot give medical advice any more than it can.
This is where most salon software has nothing to say and most owners lose the client anyway. CIERA has a protocol. It pauses before replying, because an instant answer to "I hate my hair" reads as dismissive. It acknowledges without defending — no "we did exactly what you asked", no quoting the price of a redo. It offers a complimentary look-see, with the same stylist or fresh eyes, whichever the client prefers. It flags the account quietly, tells you and the stylist, and switches off every rebooking prompt, product nudge and review request for the next month.
On the long, high-value services — colour, keratin, extensions, bridal — the agent explains the deposit, makes clear the payment link comes from the salon, and holds the slot for up to a day while it is settled. It explains your cancellation window and your late-cancellation fee kindly but clearly, up front, where it prevents an argument rather than causing one.
What it will not do is waive a fee, enforce one, or argue about one that has already been charged. That is your conversation, and it hands it to you.
The agent learns each client's own rhythm from their last four visits and nudges on that cadence. A six-week colour client and a twelve-week trim client do not get the same message on the same day, and nobody gets a "you're overdue!" broadcast. It also runs waitlists for full days, handles walk-ins, chases gift vouchers before they are forgotten, and reminds clients about retail when they are actually running out.
Weddings get their own sequence: consultation, trial and the day itself, linked together, with check-ins at twelve weeks, four weeks and the week before.
Some conversations are not about hair. Thinning, alopecia, hair loss during chemotherapy. The agent moves to a consultation rather than reciting the menu, does not state a price into that moment, and never follows up on it later with marketing. It also will not recommend a product you do not stock.
From R799 per month. Every plan is the complete platform — the agent, the CRM, bookings, deposits, invoicing and payment links — and the tier only sets how many WhatsApp conversations are included. It runs on your existing WhatsApp Business number through Meta's official platform, so you keep the number your clients already have. Most salons are live within about two working days.
