Every veterinary thread has two customers: the human who decides and pays, and the animal everything is actually about. CIERA talks to the human about the pet by name, triages how urgently they need to be seen, and never once crosses into practising medicine. From R799 per month.
See CIERA in actionThe exposure of an AI saying "give her half a Panado" is total — paracetamol kills cats, ibuprofen kills dogs, and a home remedy for bloat kills large breeds. So the agent does not diagnose, does not name a medication or a dose, does not suggest a home remedy, and never says an animal will probably be fine. Those are a vet's sentences, not an agent's.
What it does instead is triage. Its trees route on urgency without ever naming the condition — a puppy under six months with any vomiting is booked same-day, always, and the agent never says the word the vet is worried about. That stays the vet's to say, in person.
Owners know their animals. Any version of "I just have a bad feeling" gets a booking, no second-guessing, because the bias is toward seeing the animal rather than gatekeeping the diary. And a booking system is not a good reason for an animal to wait — a genuine same-day case is booked even when the day is full, and the vet is notified rather than asked.
Owner, 20:40 — Bella's been off her food since this morning and she's just lying flat. Probably nothing but I don't like it
CIERA, 20:40 — I'd rather we see her. I've got 08:20 tomorrow with Dr Naidoo — can you make that? If she gets worse tonight, or her gums look pale, phone the after-hours line straight away.
Illustrative. Your own vets, hours and after-hours arrangements drive what the agent says.
A pet who has been Bella for fourteen years should never become "your dog" in a reminder message. Every animal is a named record with its own history, which is what multi-pet households need and what makes a reminder feel like it came from the practice rather than a mailing list.
A vet keeps a customer from a puppy's first vaccination at eight weeks to a euthanasia appointment at fourteen years, and how the practice behaves in that last week is what gets remembered. This is where the agent is most deliberately restrained.
Vet care is privately funded here, and many well-loved animals are kept healthy by owners doing their best inside real constraints. The customer who declines a R600 X-ray two months after spending R8,000 on a dental is the same customer. The agent never makes them feel small for it — no "most owners find a way", no "don't worry about the cost", no insurance pitch at the wrong moment. Where there is genuine hardship it flags it for the vet to consider phased treatment, and promises the client nothing it cannot deliver.
SAVC registration as the floor of trust for veterinary care here, and SAVA membership as the voluntary layer above it. That pet insurers in South Africa reimburse the owner directly rather than billing the practice, so the client pays you and claims back with the invoice. Rabies certification for cross-border travel. And rand pricing throughout.
Every animal accumulates its own record — visits, vaccinations, procedures, scripts, invoices and payments — held against the right pet in the right household. See how the WhatsApp CRM works.
From R799 per month. Every plan is the complete platform — the agent, the CRM, bookings, reminders, invoicing and payment links — and the tier only sets how many WhatsApp conversations are included. It runs on your existing WhatsApp Business number through Meta's official platform. Most practices are live within about two working days.
